While working through a few beginner sewing projects, students will learn basics such as threading a machine, cutting fabric, and sewing straight seams.
All materials for the class will be provided. Classroom sewing machines will be used during the class.

In these classes, students will learn the foundational elements of crochet, including tools, basic stitches (chain, single crochet, double crochet), how to count stitches, and how to read patterns. From there, personalized learning will continue to progress with each student.
No prior crochet experience necessary. One crochet hook and yarn will be provided in your first class.

This class will introduce students to basic weaving terminology and concepts while creating a small tapestry project for you to take home.

This is a beginner needle felting class. Needle felting uses sharp needles to poke wool together into different designs. We will be completing a 2D project that is a bit like painting a picture, but with fiber!

Amigurumi is the art of crocheting stuffed animals and other creations. These days you can easily find patterns for animals, dolls, food, plants, and just about anything else you can think of. With the combination of a few stitches and techniques, you will be well on your way to creating stuffies of your own.
This class is for students already confident in basic crochet skills. If you are new to crochet, please take our introductory crochet classes first.
